About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Associate to join our Melbourne Property team. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with Partner Clare Batrouney to deliver high-quality services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and draft property-related agreements, including contracts, leases, and development agreements.
  • Provide comprehensive advice to clients on commercial property transactions.
  • Represent clients in public procurement processes for the sale, lease, or redevelopment of public land.
  • Advise land owners on development agreements.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Strong property experience working as a Senior Associate in a commercial property or real estate team.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Clear and concise drafting skills, with attention to detail and the ability to deliver legally sound solutions.
  • A proven track record in drafting and reviewing contracts of sale, leases, and other property-related agreements.
  • Experience working with public sector clients is preferred but not essential.
  • Ability to manage competing deadlines and take responsibility for matters.
  • A client-centric and pragmatic approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a large team.
  • Support partners with team development, including mentoring junior team members and business development activities.
