Job Opportunity:

The Centre of Excellence for financial crime management is being established to help meet AML/CTF and broader financial crime obligations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Delivering high-quality risk-based outcomes following NAB procedures
  • Coaching and leadership of analysts and senior associates in the Quality Assurance team
  • Management of operational queues within SLA
  • Participation in building and enhancing the Financial Crime Program
  • Working with the Financial Crime Management team to align business outcomes with the wider business
  • Building out procedures for process improvement and best practices

Key Requirements:

  • 5 years of financial crime management or equivalent industry experience
  • 2 years of people leadership experience in an operational team
  • Experience in banking and financial services
  • Strong people leadership capabilities within an operational environment
  • Deep financial crime knowledge and capability to lead KYC teams across onboarding, refresh, and enhanced customer due diligence
  • Ability to build and review customer due diligence processes and enhanced customer review and signoff processes
  • Operations management within a standalone fast-paced team
  • Coaching and development capabilities of operational teams
  • Process documentation and risk documentation capabilities
  • Relevant qualifications will be highly regarded
