About the Opportunity
This is a 12-month contract position with a possibility of renewal. As an APS5 Internal Review Officer (Case Manager), you will work in a flexible, hybrid work environment, ensuring a great work-life balance. The role is based in Geelong, VIC, but some in-office time is required.
About the Team
The Reviews Branch is the central point of coordination for the agency's handling and resolution of reviews and complaints. As a Case Manager, you will collaborate with participants, providers, internal staff, and external agencies to manage and resolve reviews and complaints promptly, as outlined in the agency's Service Charter.
Key Responsibilities
- Working with participants to gather information regarding the nature and context of review requests, informing participants and their representatives about decisions, reviews, and the appeals process.
- Undertaking evidence-based decision making as prescribed in the Act, rules, Operational Guidelines, and agency policies.
- Monitoring and managing caseloads, ensuring internal reviews are completed within set timeframes.
- Contributing to quality improvement activities to enhance service delivery practice, processes, and systems.
