Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Chief Scientist Infectious Molecular to join our team at Dorevitch Pathology in Heidelberg VIC 3084. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading our infectious molecular research program, developing and implementing new testing protocols, and collaborating with other departments to improve patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Lead the development and implementation of new infectious molecular testing protocols
  2. Collaborate with other departments to improve patient outcomes and streamline testing processes
  3. Conduct research and analysis to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions
  4. Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and stakeholders

Requirements and Qualifications

  • PhD in a relevant field (e.g. microbiology, molecular biology)
  • 5+ years experience in infectious molecular research or a related field
  • Proven track record of leadership and collaboration
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Working Arrangements

This is a full-time position working 38 hours per week. Your flexibility with hours, including after hours and weekend work will be required.
