Leader of Burns Care: A Strategic Role in Clinical Excellence and Service Innovation

The role is evenly split between clinical practice and strategic leadership, allowing for meaningful influence over care delivery, team performance, and operational strategy. You will lead the development of new models of care, mentor both junior and senior clinicians, and contribute to statewide service planning and policy development.

We are seeking a suitably qualified surgeon with significant expertise in burns and reconstructive surgery, a passion for teaching and research, and a proven track record in collaborative leadership, staff development, and quality assurance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes and reduce burn-related morbidity and mortality
  • Lead the development of new models of care and service innovation
  • Mentor and support junior and senior clinicians in their professional development
  • Contribute to statewide service planning and policy development
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to drive quality improvement initiatives

Requirements:
