Employment Tax Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled Employment Tax Professional to provide expert advice and compliance support across various industries.


Job Description:

This role involves providing written guidance on employment tax matters, including FBT, Payroll Tax, PAYG Withholding, Superannuation Guarantee, and Salary Packaging. The successful candidate will collaborate with other business units to offer specialist insights and deliver high-quality results.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver Expert Employment Tax Advice: Research and prepare detailed reports on employment tax issues, while collaborating with internal teams to develop effective solutions.
  • Ensure Compliance and Quality: Review and prepare annual returns, payroll tax filings, and superannuation guarantee calculations, leveraging technology to support compliance and improve efficiency.
  • Engage and Educate: Liaise directly with clients and regulatory bodies, and lead training seminars to build understanding and capability in employment tax matters.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Collaborative and Client-Focused Mindset: A strong desire to work as part of a national team supporting clients across diverse industries.
  • Strong Technical and Analytical Skills: 1–3 years of experience in employment tax, excellent MS Word, PowerPoint, and Excel skills, and proven confidence in handling data and performing detailed analysis.
  • Adaptable and Growth-Oriented: Able to manage multiple priorities independently and within teams, with a strong attention to detail and a desire to continuously learn and embrace new technologies.
