Job Title: Labourer

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Labourer to join our team.

About the Job:

This is a full-time opportunity that involves working in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for delivering a range of civil maintenance and asphalt labouring duties, working closely with your supervisor and team members to apply your skills to projects across the area.

Responsibilities:

  • Complete manual handling tasks and apply skills associated with civil maintenance and construction projects
  • Participate in toolbox discussions
  • Complete asphalt labouring skills and civil maintenance
  • Operate small plant items such as whipper snippers, whacker packers, mowers

Requirements:

  • Appropriate literacy and numeracy skills to allow comprehension of worksite documentation
  • Sound civil labouring skills using manual handling techniques
  • Workcover General Construction Induction accreditation or ability to obtain prior to commencement
  • Ability to attain Roads & Traffic Authority Controllers Certificate and LR Driver licence after commencement if not already possessed
