Job Title

This is a critical role that requires an experienced risk professional to join our global Operational Risk Management team. The successful candidate will support the Counterparty Onboarding Team and play a key part in strengthening operational risk practices within a dynamic environment.

About the Role

  • Provide operational risk advice and develop practical solutions to ensure robust risk management frameworks are in place.
  • Work closely with the Lead BORM for Counterparty Onboarding to identify and manage operational risks.
  • Support the Counterparty Onboarding Risk and Control Self-Assessment (RCSA), ensuring effective risk identification and management.
  • Validate controls and provide expert risk guidance to senior stakeholders, aligning with policies and frameworks.
  • Investigate incidents, address root causes, and collaborate with senior management to drive initiatives that enhance operational resilience and efficiency.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in risk management or internal control roles, such as internal or external audit, ideally within client onboarding or financial crime areas.
  • Demonstrated expertise in conducting Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSA) and performing control assurance activities.
  • A continuous improvement mindset, with the ability to balance commercial objectives within a risk framework.
  • Exceptional communication skills, enabling effective engagement with senior stakeholders and collaboration with key support functions on policy and framework requirements.
