We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Chorus. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting seniors and NDIS customers to remain in their homes, promoting their independence and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide tailored person-centered services and activities to meet the diverse needs of our customers.
  • Work collaboratively with customers, their families, carers, and other professionals to ensure seamless support.
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with customers, built on trust, respect, and open communication.
  • Contribute to a safe and inclusive environment, promoting the dignity and autonomy of our customers.
Requirements
  • Certificate III Individual Support - Aged Care or Disability, or other relevant qualification.
  • Experience working with seniors, people on the mental health recovery journey, and those living with disability.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Current Australian Drivers Licence with no restrictions, and a reliable roadworthy motor vehicle for travel to customers' homes.
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to apply for one prior to commencing employment).
  • Current First Aid Certificate with 12 months or less currency (or willingness to apply).

  • A competitive hourly rate from $32.20.
  • Attractive salary packaging options (up to $15,900 per year tax-free) and an additional $2,650 for Meals and Entertainment.
