Dean of Christian Formation

The role of the Dean of Christian Formation is a senior leadership position, responsible for providing strategic guidance and oversight in promoting and developing Christ-centred curricula.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership through membership and participation on the Senior Leadership Team to ensure the effective implementation of college policies and initiatives.
  • Oversight and management of Christian Studies to foster academic excellence and spiritual growth among students.
  • Provide pastoral care for students and staff, ensuring their well-being and safety.

To be considered for this role, applicants must possess the following qualifications and skills:

Selection Criteria:
  1. Current registration with the relevant teaching authority in Western Australia.
  2. A valid Working With Children Check clearance.
  3. Satisfactory Department of Education Criminal History Clearance no more than three months old.
  4. A written reference from a Church Pastor/Minister.
  5. Legally entitled to work in Australia with proof of Australian citizenship or residency visa details.
  6. A personal faith commitment to the Lord Jesus Christ, including regular church attendance and a lifestyle consistent with Christian values.
  7. Supportive of the aims, principles, and tenets of Kingsway Christian Education Association Inc.
