About the Role

NCS Australia is seeking a highly skilled Dynamics 365 Solution Architect to join our team on a 12-month contract basis in Melbourne. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for the technical integrity of Dynamics 365 implementation, providing technical guidance to clients and scrum masters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Gather Technical Requirements: Work with clients to gather technical requirements and propose solutions based on their architectural and business needs.
  • Define Project Specifications: Collaborate with technology and business groups to define project specifications, ensuring alignment with client objectives.
  • Develop Technical Solution Designs: Design and implement technical solution designs and implementation plans, taking ownership of the Dynamics 365 solution.
  • Interact with Clients: Engage with prospective and current clients during product demos/evaluations, providing expert guidance on Dynamics 365 solutions.
  • Enhance Efficiency: Develop tools and frameworks to ensure robust and high-quality delivery of Dynamics 365 implementations, enhancing efficiency in development, testing, and release processes.
  • Document Technical Risks: Identify and document technical risks and issues, actively working to avoid, mitigate, resolve risks, and technical debt.
  • Collaborate with Scrum Masters: Work with Scrum Masters and technical leads to determine timelines, project tasks, and requirements gathering processes.
  • Participate in Development Lifecycle: Participate in the full development lifecycle process, ensuring seamless delivery of Dynamics 365 solutions.
  • Coordinate Development Tasks: Coordinate and support development tasks among development teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Relay Solution Design: Relay the solution design to the development team, providing technical guidance during development of the solution.
  • Travel for Workshops: Travel to multiple customer locations for workshops and meetings when required, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Upskill Technical Leads: Upskill existing technical leads in new technologies and enhancements of Dynamics 365, ensuring knowledge sharing and expertise growth.
  • Mentor Technical Resources: Mentor existing technical resources in architecture and governance of Dynamics 365, ensuring knowledge sharing and expertise growth.
Qualifications
  • Strong Experience in CRM Solutions: Strong demonstrable experience implementing and managing CRM solutions at an enterprise level (Microsoft Dynamics CRM / Dynamics 365).
  • Consulting Background: Strong background of experience within consulting environments, with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.
  • Presentation Skills: Strong pre-sales background delivering presentations and high-level design documents, effectively communicating technical information to clients.
  • Project Management: Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, effectively managing priorities and deadlines.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to effectively facilitate meetings with project team members and sponsors, ensuring clear communication and collaboration.
  • Technical Expertise: Experience translating technical information into easy-to-understand business concepts, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Great interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
