The Interior Design Consultant role is a key position within our design studio team, working closely with clients to provide expert guidance and assistance throughout the home-building process.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with clients from initial consultations to final project completion
  • Develop tailored interior design solutions, including colour schemes, material specifications, spatial planning, and electrical requirements
  • Interpret client needs, create detailed design concepts, and contract documents
  • Analyse building codes and specifications, writing comprehensive interior design documents
  • Provide on-site pricing and estimating services
  • Collaborate with other disciplines to deliver high-quality projects
About You:
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role
  • A recognised Certificate in Interior Design and Decoration or relevant tertiary qualification
  • A commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and strong communication skills
  • Experience in interior design or colour consulting within the residential building industry
  • Ability to read and understand floor plans and housing contracts, as well as knowledge of relevant legislation, codes, and industry trends
  • Strong attention to detail and record-keeping, planning, and organisational skills
