We are seeking a highly skilled Design Consultant to join our team.
As a key member of our team, you will work closely with clients to provide expert guidance and support in the presentation of plans and selection of interior and external details.
Key responsibilities include:
- Interpreting client needs and developing customized design concepts and contract documents
- Providing specifications covering interior design matters and performing building code reviews
- Collaborating with other disciplines to ensure seamless project execution
- Ensuring customer satisfaction through excellent communication and quality support
About You
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- 2+ years of experience working as a Design Consultant or similar role
- Certificate in Interior Design and Decoration or relevant tertiary qualification
- Strong communication skills and commitment to providing excellent customer service
- Experience in interior design or colour consulting within the residential building industry
- Ability to read and understand floor plans and housing contracts, with up-to-date knowledge of relevant legislation and industry trends
- Attention to detail and strong record-keeping skills
- Flexibility to work Monday-Friday, with occasional Saturday availability
