Are you ready to take your passion for travel to new heights? As a Sales Travel Consultant, you'll play a key role in helping customers plan and book their dream trips.

As part of our team, you'll work full-time on-site in one of our retail stores on a rotating roster across a 7-day trade. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Planning itineraries and booking travel for our customers
  • Converting enquiries into bookings in person, over the phone, and via email
  • Working towards individual KPIs and sales targets, selling the whole holiday including flights, accommodation, car hire, tours, travel insurance, cruises, transfers, and more
  • Building a customer base of new and returning customers from regular domestic bookings to lavish international holidays and everything in between
  • Assisting our customers with their travel-related questions, including visas, best time of year to travel, what to pack, where to eat, what to avoid, and more

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Excellent organisational skills, including taking notes, managing your calendar well, and responding quickly to customer calls and emails
  • A genuine passion for travel and a desire to help open up the world to our customers
  • Determination to meet your sales targets and KPIs while balancing your workload in a high-pressure environment
  • Enthusiasm, passion, and a warmth that makes our customers want to book with you every time
  • Proficiency with computers, ready to toggle between various complex systems when finding the right flight and package options for your customer
