Oracle Database Consultant

This is a senior level position that involves designing and building databases, as well as ensuring their security and performance.

We are looking for an experienced professional with a strong background in Oracle database administration. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of experience with implementing, upgrading, migrating, converting, and consolidating projects with Oracle databases.

  • The successful candidate will possess strong analytical skills and the ability to make quick and accurate decisions.
  • They will also be able to design and implement database security, data recovery, and performance monitoring and tuning.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong experience with Oracle Database ranging from 10g through to 19c across UNIX/Linux and Windows platforms.
  • Proficient in writing and optimising SQL statements.
Highly Desirable Skills
  • Experience managing databases on engineered systems, such as Exadata and Oracle Database Appliance (ODA).
  • Experience with administering or migrating databases on/to OCI, AWS, Azure, Exadata Cloud at Customer or on PaaS environments.
