Payroll Specialist

The key responsibilities of this role include managing end-to-end payroll processing across various cycles, ensuring compliance and accuracy, as well as leading payroll testing and analytical review activities to ensure data integrity.
This position also involves providing expert support across payroll systems and workflows, including integration with major software, system administration, and troubleshooting to resolve issues efficiently.
A critical aspect of this role is legislative and audit compliance, requiring staying informed of regulatory changes and meeting audit requirements.
Detailed knowledge of payroll procedures and finance processes, including PAYG, Payroll Tax, Superannuation, Workers Compensation, and Long Service Leave, is essential for success in this position.
This role offers the opportunity to work independently and collaboratively, exercising sound judgment in day-to-day operations, with strong communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office and major payroll software.
