About This Role

This is a permanent full-time opportunity to lead community operations at our centre in Maryborough and Hervey Bay. As Community Operations Leader, you will oversee site-based services, ensure delivery of high-quality person-centred supports, and motivate a dedicated team.

You will be responsible for managing a community site, delivering personalized planning, and ensuring sustainable business models. Your key focus will be on developing a team environment that identifies and solves problems, translates personalised planning into action, and provides effective customer-centric service delivery experiences.

Day To Day Responsibilities
  • End-to-end management of a community site with a focus on person-centred approaches, personalised planning, and development for people with disabilities.
  • Developing a team environment where employees can identify and solve problems, translating personalised planning into action, while ensuring sustainable and profitable service delivery.
  • Supervising Support Workers on rotating roster cycles to maintain effective site operations and mitigate operational challenges.
  • Promoting the suite of service offerings and exploring effective customer engagement strategies through data interpretation and collaboration with stakeholders.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in human services or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in managing site-based services within the disability sector and community services support for people with disabilities.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of National Standards Disability Services, Quality & Safeguarding Framework, and NDIS requirements.
  • Interpersonal and communication skills required to grow relationships with team members and stakeholders and lead through adversity.
