The ideal candidate is a connector, generalist, and independent worker who can grow and nurture their community in question.
As a researcher writer at TEDxMelbourne, you will be embedded within domains and communities of your interests. You will help research, inform, and create knowledge about what's happening within these domains for our team and beyond.
Key Responsibilities- Build and engage with the community through content creation, partnerships, and relationships.
- Identify and develop trending topics of interest within the community and overall.
- Report on trends to the leadership team.
- Evangelise TEDx to new audiences.
- Advocate for the audience within TEDxMelbourne.
- Deliver a flagship event to the Melbourne community.
- Contribute to the content roadmap for the next 12 months.
- Help shape the strategy for community engagement at TEDxMelbourne.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Experience in content creation and strategy.
- Research skills and writing expertise.
- Experience within the TEDx community or similar idea-sharing platforms.
- Experience working within a volunteer organisation.
