Logistics Coordinator Role

This position involves managing the flow of goods, ensuring timely delivery, and coordinating daily schedules for drivers.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Process shipments, prepare freight for transportation, and manage warehouse operations.
  • Stack and secure pallets, as well as perform other warehouse duties as required.
  • Create air and road consignment documents using both computer and manual systems.
  • Handle freight at airports and seaports, including pickup and delivery services.
  • Loading and unloading delivery vehicles, occasionally making deliveries.
  • Collaborate with management to adjust daily routes based on customer needs.
  • Develop and distribute daily work schedules, informing drivers of potential road hazards affecting travel time.
  • Monitor driver logs for errors, infractions, working hours, and equipment availability.
Requirements:
  • Experience in warehousing, preferably 2-3 years.
  • Customer service experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • A valid forklift license or willingness to obtain one.
  • Certificate I-II in Warehousing & Distribution, or experience in 3PL warehouse and freight forwarding is advantageous.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in dispatch software is highly beneficial.
