We are seeking a skilled Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join our team at Followmont Transport. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on our fleet of heavy commercial vehicles.
Key Responsibilities
- Routine Maintenance: Conduct regular maintenance checks and servicing to ensure our fleet remains at compliance standards.
- Diagnostics: Use diagnostic tools and equipment to identify issues with engines, transmissions, and other vehicle systems.
- Repairs: Perform repairs on mechanical systems, including engines, transmissions, and suspension systems.
- Safety Inspections: Conduct safety inspections to ensure that all systems and components meet safety standards and regulations.
- Documentation: Keep detailed records of all maintenance and repair work performed.
- Operational Interaction: Communicate with operational leaders and drivers to ensure work is completed within timelines.
- Compliance: Ensure that all repairs and maintenance work complies with industry standards, manufacturer specifications, and NHVR regulations.

Requirements
