The Night Auditor is a crucial role that ensures the smooth operation of all departments during the night shift between 11pm and 7am, particularly focusing on the Rooms Division. This position requires managing daily reconciliation of hotel outlets, completing daily revenue postings, and maintaining strict security procedures to ensure guest confidentiality and safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Reconcile daily revenue postings and manage hotel outlets
  • Check in and out guests as required
  • Prepare and distribute reports to inter departments
  • Manage and confirm reservation details and accounts for in-house guests
  • Coordinate with the Rooms Division team for departures
  • Provide supervision and support to the Rooms Division team and other departments
  • Respond to guest enquiries and requests in a timely manner
  • Ensure effective handovers between Night Audit, Reception, Reservations, Maintenance, and Housekeeping
  • Maximise guest satisfaction and property safety
  • Attentively address guest requests to ensure total customer satisfaction

Requirements

  • Prior experience as a Night Auditor
  • Strong knowledge of hotel property management systems
  • Exceptional grooming, presentation, and communication skills
  • Ability to work night shifts and flexibility to work on weekends and public holidays
