Agronomy Account Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Agronomy Account Manager to join our team at Nutrien Ag Solutions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert product knowledge and advice to our Broadacre and Pasture production client base in the Inverell district.
Key Responsibilities- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their business goals and provide technical and market information to improve their farming enterprises.
- Provide agronomic and technical support to farmers and producers in the region, including product sales and on-farm demonstrations.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest plant production practices and maintain relationships with existing customers while targeting new clients.
- Coordinate field days and farmer meetings to promote our products and services.
- You will have a strong understanding of the products, seasonal timings, and general requirements of rural producers, with a proven track record of success in an agronomy role.
- You will possess excellent customer service, organisational, administrative, and computing skills, as well as strong written and verbal communication skills.
- You will have a tertiary qualification in agricultural science or a related field and a current driver's license.
- You will be able to demonstrate a strong understanding of the sales process and sales activity and call cycle management.
