We are seeking a skilled and motivated professional to fill the role of Assistant Director. This is an exciting opportunity for you to take on new challenges, develop your leadership skills, and make a meaningful contribution to our team.

As Assistant Director, you will be responsible for supporting the Centre Director in leading the team to provide high-quality early learning and care. You will mentor and build capabilities within the centre team, manage the centre in the Centre Director's absence, and use and implement the Goodstart Practice Guide.

This is a full-time fixed-term position that offers the opportunity to work alongside our dedicated leadership team, forge respectful relationships with families, and actively engage with the local community networks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mentor and build capabilities within the centre team
  • Be responsible for the overall management of the centre in the Centre Director's absence
  • Use and implement the Goodstart Practice Guide

About the Role:

  • We are a purpose-built childcare centre providing much-needed care for local families
  • Our centre features six large and spacious learning spaces over two levels with separate nursery sleep rooms, creating a modern yet home-like naturally inspired environment
  • Our early learning programs cater to each child's stage of development, from six weeks of age to Preschool-aged children
