Expert Trainer for Mechanical Trades

  • Deliver training and assessment services to apprentices and students in fitting and machining.
  • Develop and implement training programs meeting learner and employer needs.
  • Provide guidance and support for apprentices and students achieving their learning objectives.
  • Foster strong relationships with employers, industry bodies, and stakeholders in the mechanical trade sector.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
  • Stay updated on industry developments and changes in legislation.
Job Requirements
  • 5+ years' experience in the mechanical trade industry with a strong technical background in fitting and machining.
  • Relevant qualifications such as Certificate III or IV in Engineering (Mechanical Trade).
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) or equivalent. Additional training will be provided if needed.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Commitment to quality, continuous improvement, and professional development.
