Electrical Engineering Leader

Are you a seasoned electrical engineer with a passion for leading high-performing teams? Do you have extensive experience in designing and implementing high voltage electrical systems? We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineering Leader to join our Infrastructure team in Adelaide to provide support to water and defence projects.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Lead the electrical engineering design project, teams, and assignments.
* Organize, execute, coordinate, mentor, and coach the team and undertake complex engineering tasks.
* Apply advanced theories, concepts, principles, and processes.
* Be involved in all aspects of design, including contributing to and performing designs, preparing specifications.
* Operate within KBR's quality management system.
* Discuss and negotiate critical issues within the discipline both internally and with external stakeholders.

**Requirements:**

* Significant practical and theoretical knowledge in electrical engineering.
* A demonstrated experience in undertaking and supervising detailed design of a broad range of electrical systems, primarily high voltage systems.
* Solid experience of leading a multi-disciplinary project team and the ability to mentor and develop team members.
* Experience in preparing and verifying design calculations, including self-checking, using either manual methods or with the aid of computer programs, and guiding designers and drafters in the preparation of drawings and to undertake review of these drawings.
* Significant experience in preparing and reviewing reports and technical specifications.
* The ability to liaise with clients, statutory authorities, and other consultants.
* A Chartered Member (CPEng) credential from Engineers Australia or the ability to obtain chartership within a reasonable agreed time frame.
* A practical knowledge and commitment to Health and Safety Design knowledge of applicable codes and standards, both Australian and international.
* Australian Citizenship with the ability to obtain Defence clearance.
