**Project Overview**
Project Kuiper is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to underserved communities around the world.
**Job Summary**
We are seeking a talented corporate lawyer to join the Amazon Legal team supporting Project Kuiper. As a key member of our team, you will be embedded with the Kuiper business and operations teams, focusing on deals in the Asia-Pacific region.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Structure, draft, and negotiate a range of agreements, including service and customer terminal sales agreements.
- Counsel the business team on legal issues related to Kuiper's enterprise and sales business.
- Develop strategies for handling legal issues in creative, business-centric ways and build processes that address risk and allow the business flexibility and freedom to move quickly.
**Requirements**
- 2+ years of legal experience.
- Juris Doctor and membership in one state bar or equivalent.
- Experience in transactional and technology licensing or equivalent.
- Experience of a mix of corporate law firm and in-house work.
- Knowledge of IT infrastructure, outsourcing, telecommunications, cloud computing services or equivalent.
- Ability to work independently while being able to contribute successfully to cross-functional teams.
