Job Title: Home Care Support Specialist
Location: Carlton, VIC 3053
Salary: $30.61 per hour + Super + Paid KM's + Phone Allowance (approximately $63,000 - $70,000 per annum)

As a Home Care Support Specialist, you will be responsible for providing tailored care support to our customers, enabling them to maintain their independence and live comfortably in their own homes.
Responsibilities- Deliver domestic assistance, including cleaning and household chores, to ensure a safe and comfortable living environment for our customers.
- Assist with meal preparation and shopping, promoting healthy eating habits and independence.
- Provide social support and transport to lifestyle activities, fostering emotional connections and enhancing overall wellbeing.
- Offer personal care services, including grooming, bathing, and dressing, as required.
- Manage medication, assist with mobility, and provide therapy support, ensuring seamless care coordination.
- Provide respite and emotional support, offering a listening ear and comforting presence.
- Support customers with complex care needs, such as dementia, through comprehensive care planning and delivery.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- At least 6 months of experience in a similar care support role, including personal care skills.
- A current P1 class or above Australian Driver's License and a registered vehicle, with regular travel required.
- The ability to work independently, prioritizing tasks, and finding creative solutions to everyday challenges.
- An empathetic and caring approach, understanding the importance of compassion and emotional intelligence in care work.
- Availability to work at least 3 days per week, Monday to Friday, with no night or weekend shifts.
