Job Description

About the role:

  • Prepare detailed architectural drawings including plans elevations sections schedules stair details and construction details at varying scales.
  • Collaborate with architects designers and engineers to ensure accurate documentation.
  • Translate design concepts into technical documentation.
  • Interpret and use surveys to gather data for documentation purposes.
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes regulations and standards.
  • Review and revise documentation in response to feedback and markups.
  • Coordinate with contractors and construction teams to ensure accurate execution of designs.
  • Manage and maintain project documentation and records.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in architecture or similar.
  • Must come from an architectural firm.
  • Be proficient in Revit with at least 3 years of experience documenting construction sets of drawings.
  • Have proven Australian experience in construction documentation and detailing across various project types with a strong focus on multi-residential buildings using Revit.
  • Be capable of working effectively both autonomously and within a small team environment.
  • Follow instructions from the Project Architect and complete tasks comprehensively and in a timely manner.
  • Possess strong problem-solving skills and demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
  • Ideally have knowledge of Australian regulations including BCA NCC Residential Code and relevant legislation.
  • Be able to amend and update designs/documentation based on consultant feedback and reports.
  • Maintain high standards in delivery with a keen attention to detail.
