Support Worker Position Available

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in Canberra and surrounds.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to provide personalized active support in a group and one-on-one setting, engaging participants in social and recreational outings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality care and support to individuals with disabilities, promoting their independence and well-being
  • Build strong relationships with clients and their families, fostering trust and rapport
  • Work collaboratively as part of a team, contributing to a positive and supportive work environment
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards
Requirements
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience providing direct care and support to individuals with disabilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients
  • A warm, patient, and energetic approach to care delivery
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
  • Current driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle
  • Strong English language skills
