Job Title: School Cleaner

This is a part-time opportunity to join our team in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of educational environments.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Cleaning of classrooms, offices, stairs, corridors, cloakrooms, and toilets.
  • Emptying waste bins, ensuring proper recycling practices.
  • Operating buffing machines under supervision, with training provided as needed.
  • Reporting damage and vandalism to relevant authorities.
  • Ensuring school safety and security protocols are followed.
Additional Duties During School Holidays:
  • Deep cleaning of frequently used areas during holiday periods.
  • Supporting maintenance and project work-related cleaning tasks.
  • Cleaning areas utilized by external groups and events.
Working Hours and Terms:
  • This part-time role involves working 35 weeks per annum during term time, with flexible hours (mornings, afternoons, and evenings) agreed upon with the postholder.
  • During school holidays, up to 150 hours may be worked on an as-needed basis, Monday through Sunday.
