Career Opportunities for Social Workers

We are seeking a highly skilled social worker to join our team and provide violence and trauma-informed counseling and advocacy services to adult survivors of sexual assault.

  • Assess and enable eligible victims/survivors to access our services with ease
  • Provide telephone, telehealth, and face-to-face support, counseling, and advocacy to victims/survivors of recent and past sexual assault
  • Coordinate the provision of follow-up medical support and advocate on behalf of victims/survivors with other systems including health, police, and broader judicial systems

This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to make a real difference in the lives of those affected by sexual assault.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Social Work or other relevant health profession Skills and experience
  • Demonstrated crisis counseling experience and knowledge and skills in supporting survivors of sexual assault and violence
  • Experience in providing short-medium term counseling support
