Chief Cyber Defense Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled cybersecurity professional to join our team. As a key member of our security engineering department, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing robust cyber defense systems.
- Conduct thorough assessments of various systems and configurations for vulnerabilities.
- Develop and provide remediation recommendations for identified security issues.
- Apply advanced security principles in system integration and design.
You will need:
- 5+ years of cybersecurity experience with expertise in threat analysis and countermeasure design.
- Proficiency in security system design tools and techniques.
- Ability to write code in a supported language (e.g., Java, C++).
- Experience assessing security controls using frameworks such as CIS CSC, NIST SP 800-53.
This is a hybrid role perfect for an experienced infrastructure engineer with a strong security mindset and relevant clearance.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and developing secure systems and protocols.
- Evaluating the effectiveness of existing security measures.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement security best practices.
Required skills and qualifications include:
