Job Title: Security Officer

Job Description:

The security officer will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and emergency response to one of our retail assets in Fortitude Valley. This is a part-time position requiring day and night shifts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing a high level of security and customer service duties
  • Guarding, patrolling, monitoring, and controlling assigned premises
  • Respond to emergencies, alarm events, calls for assistance and provide the necessary support
  • Assess and respond to situations of risk
  • Access control
  • Incident report writing and data logs
Requirements:
  • Current Security Licence - Crowd Control required
  • Current First Aid certificate
  • Flexibility to work rotating rosters. Willingness to work nights/weekends
  • Great communication skills both verbal and written
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • A positive attitude with excellent written and verbal communication skills
