About the Role
As a Site Guardian, you will be responsible for providing high levels of customer service and protecting employees, property, and assets. You will perform site patrols, access control, and incident response, as well as greet visitors and employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide security services in line with site SOPs and client requirements.
- Deliver exceptional customer service aligned with core values.
- Conduct site patrols, access control, and incident response.
- Greet visitors and employees, issue keys/cards to authorized contractors, and monitor activities for safety and compliance.
- Protect people and property.
- Report writing, including use of Microsoft applications and advanced Excel, Word, and Outlook skills.
- Monitor and utilize CCTV applications, Emergency Management, and Fire Systems.
- Perform data entry (approximately 90% of the role) requiring computer proficiency.
Requirements
- Hold a valid QLD Security License.
- Current First Aid & CPR certification.
- Valid Driver's License and car.
- Excellent communication skills, punctuality, and reliability.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, exercising discretion and confidentiality.
- Previous gatehouse experience is desirable but not compulsory.
