Job Description

Perenti Group is a leading diversified global mining services company with a strong presence in surface mining, underground mining, and mining support services.

The company was founded in 1987 and has since grown to become one of the world's largest companies providing surface and underground mining at scale.

Headquartered in Australia, Perenti Group has operations and offices in 13 countries across four continents, employing around 8,000 mining professionals.

Role Summary

This role provides a customer-focused network and security support service to the organisation across the globe.

The successful candidate will administer and design network and security assets within the environment, while also assisting the infrastructure, Security Operations & field services teams with escalations relating to the network stack.

Key Responsibilities
  • Network and Security Support
    • Provides customer-focused networking ICT support to users throughout the company
    • Assists in the administration of the ICT global network infrastructure
    • Ensures compliance with company network and security standards
    • Ensures compliance with company network security policies
    • Supports the administration and reporting of IT network and security assets
    • Receives, responds, and records requests for support and resolves to the level of experience and knowledge
    • Refers complex incidents to senior staff
    • Procures, configures, and maintains network and security software and devices in line with established procedures
    • Assists in the development of standards and procedures for network end-user computing devices
    • Maintains a good understanding of the services/products provided by Perenti Group to ensure network communication service levels are maintained
    • Contributes to the development and enhancement of an IT network service catalogue
    • Coordinates support activities conducted by external providers

    • Essential Criteria
      • Considerable knowledge and experience in provisioning ICT network support, including but not limited to end-user computing devices, applications, and software across a large environment
