Outdoor Space Maintenance Professional

**Job Opportunity:**
Maintain vibrant outdoor spaces, including gardens and sports ovals, to create a welcoming environment for everyone.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Assist in the upkeep of playing surfaces, including setting up greens, top dressing, fertilising under supervision, seeding, turfing, coring, and sprigging.
- Prepare outdoor facilities for events and carnivals.
- Operate and maintain small equipment and plant safely, considering risk to self and others.
- Assist in maintenance repairs, including tasks outlined in the grounds and gardens maintenance plan.
- Purchase materials for maintenance tasks.
**Requirements:**
- Knowledge of maintaining outdoor spaces, including fertilising, seeding, and turfing.
- Ability to assist in preparing outdoor facilities for events and carnivals.
- Skilled in operating and maintaining small equipment, ensuring safety for all.
- Experience in equipment and plant maintenance, following the grounds maintenance plan.
- Ability to purchase materials for maintenance tasks.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications at Certificate III level or completion of an apprenticeship.
**Eligibility and Safeguarding Requirements:**
- Eligibility to work in Australia during appointment duration.
- Hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement.
