Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled HV Electrician to join our team based out of Gladstone. As a High-Voltage Electrical Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for carrying out maintenance and repairs on mobile equipment, ensuring excellent customer service at various mine sites.

About the Role

This is a permanent position that offers a stable and secure career path with opportunities for growth and development. The successful candidate will have a strong electrical trade qualification, a QLD Electrical License, and a HV Switching Ticket.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the planning of maintenance schedules and workload by engaging in positive communication.
  • Supply practical technical expertise and assistance to minimize equipment downtime.
  • Liaise with relevant personnel to ensure all required policies, procedures, and resources are available prior to carrying out planned work.
  • Carry out downloads and analysis of onboard computer systems.
  • Provide a high-quality standard of work and diagnosis using the workshop manual.
  • Provide well-written service reports covering complaint, cause, and correction.
Requirements
  • Educational Qualifications: Electrical trade qualification.
  • License/Certification: QLD Electrical License, HV Switching Ticket.
  • Experience: Experience working with OEM equipment such as KOMATSU, CAT, LIEBHERR, and/or HITACHI.
  • Safety Skills: Demonstrated commitment to safety with the ability to work unsupervised and in remote areas.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills and good understanding of computer systems.

Estimated Salary

$110,000 - $140,000 per annum (dependent on experience).
