Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced JH Basketball Assistant Coach to join our team at Natrona County School. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the head coach in planning, organizing, and implementing basketball practices and games.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the head coach in developing and implementing practice plans and game strategies
  • Supervise and mentor student athletes during practices and games
  • Ensure compliance with all district and state regulations regarding athletic activities
  • Coordinate with the athletic director and other coaches to ensure smooth operation of the basketball program
  • Maintain accurate records of player attendance, participation, and progress
  • Communicate effectively with parents, students, and staff regarding team activities and expectations
Requirements
  • Current PTSB Coaching Certificate
  • Current CPR/First Aid certification
  • Ability to work afternoons, evenings, nights, and weekends
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience as a JH Basketball Assistant Coach or similar role
  • Knowledge of basketball rules and regulations
  • Ability to develop and implement effective practice plans and game strategies
Working Conditions

The JH Basketball Assistant Coach will work in a fast-paced environment with frequent deadlines and changing priorities. The successful candidate must be able to work effectively under pressure and maintain a positive attitude in a team environment.
