Midwest JH Football Assistant Coach

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Midwest JH Football Assistant Coach to join our team at Natrona County School. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the head coach in the planning, organization, and execution of football activities.
Key Responsibilities- Assist the head coach in developing and implementing game plans, practice schedules, and player development strategies.
- Supervise and mentor student-athletes, ensuring their safety and well-being during practices and games.
- Coordinate with the athletic director and other staff members to ensure compliance with school and district policies.
- Develop and maintain accurate records of player attendance, participation, and progress.
- Communicate effectively with parents, players, and staff to ensure a positive and supportive team environment.
- Participate in coaching clinics, workshops, and other professional development opportunities to enhance coaching skills and knowledge.
- Current PTSB Coaching Certificate.
- Current CPR/First Aid certification.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Experience working with youth sports programs.
- Knowledge of football rules and regulations.
- Ability to develop and implement effective coaching strategies.
The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent interactions with students, staff, and parents. The ability to work effectively under pressure and maintain a positive attitude in challenging situations is essential.
