We are seeking a highly skilled Sheetmetal Fabricator to join our team at Frontline Construction Australia. As a key member of our fabrication team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining shearing, punching, and forming machines, cutting, forming, and joining sheet metal to fabricate parts, inspecting and checking finished parts for quality, and installing or repairing products made from sheet metal.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and maintain shearing, punching, and forming machines to produce high-quality sheet metal components.
- Cut, form, and join sheet metal to fabricate parts, ensuring precision and accuracy.
- Inspect and check finished parts for quality, identifying and addressing any defects or issues.
- Install or repair products made from sheet metal, ensuring a high level of quality and attention to detail.
- Read blueprints and drawings to determine the specific requirements of a job, ensuring accurate interpretation and execution.
- Formal qualifications in the trade and an apprenticeship in Australia.
- At least 10 years of experience in Sheetmetal Fabrication.
- MIG experience is essential, with TIG experience also highly desirable.
- Self-motivation and the ability to manage time effectively, with a high degree of detail and quality.
- Previous experience working across multiple industries is highly advantageous.
