We are seeking a skilled Sheetmetal Fabricator to join our team at Frontline Construction Australia, a leading manufacturer of high-end custom-made timber stairs. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for fabricating and installing sheet metal products to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Operate and maintain shearing, punching, and forming machines to produce high-quality sheet metal products.
- Cut, form, and join sheet metal to fabricate parts for our custom-made timber stairs.
- Inspect and check finished parts for quality and accuracy.
- Install or repair products made from sheet metal to ensure a seamless finish.
- Read blueprints and drawings to determine the specific requirements of a job and ensure accurate fabrication.
- Formal qualifications in the trade and an apprenticeship in Australia.
- At least 10 years of experience in Sheetmetal Fabrication.
- MIG experience is essential, with TIG experience also highly desirable.
- Self-motivated and able to manage your time effectively to a high degree of detail and quality.
- Previous experience working across multiple industries is highly advantageous.
