Civil engineering project managers oversee the development and maintenance of civil engineering projects. They work closely with engineers to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet all safety and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in cost estimation for civil engineering tasks
  • Interpret work assignment guidelines and perform tests on building materials
  • Create drawings and tables, and select appropriate equipment and procedures
  • Examine civil engineering sites and arrange maintenance and repair work
  • Gather data, analyze, and perform calculations
  • Assess material costs and verify compliance with specifications, regulations, and contract terms
  • Gather data for traffic surveys and conduct tests on construction materials and soils

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 2 years' experience in a similar role
  • Extensive technical knowledge
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
