About the Role:

WeLink Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Drafting Manager to lead our Cabinet Vision drafting team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the drafting and design processes, ensuring the efficient and accurate production of technical drawings and documentation for our joinery projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a vision for the drafting and design department, aligning it with the overall organizational goals.
  • Identify and address challenges related to design and drafting processes.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to resolve complex design issues.
  • Collaborate with project managers, designers, and production teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Provide mentorship and coaching to the drafting team, fostering their professional growth and development.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a leadership role within the joinery or construction industry.
  • Strong track record with Cabinet Vision.
  • Strong understanding of design principles, drafting techniques, and industry standards.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
  • A passion for joinery and a desire to drive innovation and excellence.
