About the Role

GBST Holdings Limited is seeking an experienced Senior Salesforce Engineer to join our Wealth Connect team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining our applications software, as well as reviewing complex software challenges.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, code, test, document, and deploy solutions in line with project timelines and business requirements.
  • Contribute to sprint planning and scrum ceremonies.
  • Take ownership of end-to-end technical solutions, from analysis and design through to implementation.
  • Prepare, review, and maintain release technical knowledge and documentation.
  • Provide support to clients during implementation, where required.
  • Assist the team by participating in environment maintenance.
  • Modify and troubleshoot applications programs.
  • Mentor and train more junior team members.
  • Conduct testing on own and others' work, critically reviewing pull requests from your peers.
  • Assist and mentor more junior team members on the tools and processes to improve the quality of their code.
  • Support the team with any required maintenance of automated infrastructure.
Requirements
  • Advanced skills in software development, together with tertiary qualifications in a related field.
  • Platform Developer 1 Salesforce certification or equivalent.
  • Platform Developer 2 Salesforce certification or equivalent.
  • Administrator Salesforce certification or equivalent.
  • Highly developed problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication skills, including the ability to communicate technically complex information to other stakeholders.
  • Systems thinking and an understanding of software design standards and patterns.
  • Effective organization and time management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Experience estimating work.
  • Ability to work in an agile environment.
