Job Details

We are seeking a reliable and physically fit Sawmill Operator to join our client's team in Bonville, NSW.

  • $32.25 per hour + penalties
  • Immediate start available
About the Role

This is an ongoing opportunity for the right candidate to work with our client in a sawmill environment.

  1. Stacking of timber following established procedures and manual handling protocols.
  2. Operating Automatic/Pneumatic Docker in accordance with safety operating procedures.
  3. Moving timber waste from chains to waste pit.
  4. Strapping of timber packs following strapping procedures.
  5. Transporting timber packs from the mill to the loading yard using a forklift (if ticketed).
  6. Ensuring the work area remains clean and free of trip hazards at all times.
  7. Following instructions as directed by the mill supervisor.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A White Card
  • A valid driver's licence
  • Experience working as a labourer or in a similar industry
  • Physical fitness
