About the Role

We are seeking a Trade Assistant to join our Maintenance team at our mine sites in Moranbah or at our Repair Centre in Mackay. The successful candidate will assist tradespeople in a Mechanical or Maintenance environment, providing support for planned and breakdown maintenance on various mobile plant and equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Carry out inspections and repairs on equipment as per maintenance strategies
  • Perform work orders as per schedule to a high standard
  • Contribute to a positive team culture and work to a high degree of safety always
About You
  • Mechanical hands-on aptitude
  • Industry experience in a Maintenance or Mechanical Environment ideal but not limited
  • Good communication and positive attitude
  • Team focused, with a high regard for safety in the workplace
