Mobile Tutor Opportunity

We are seeking passionate individuals to provide mobile tutoring sessions for students on the Gold Coast.

  • A flexible work arrangement that allows you to choose your schedule and number of commitments per term (2 - 10).

This is an ideal role for a university student looking for casual employment with a consistent yet flexible schedule. The successful candidate will be able to travel throughout the Gold Coast to various locations and have a strong sense of responsibility, a reliable mobile phone, and transport to and from lessons.

About the Role

The primary goal of this role is to support children in understanding new techniques and concepts. You will be working as part of a supportive and professional team that aims to ignite a passion for learning within our students. This opportunity is perfect for someone who has a desire to develop new skills or start a career in education.

Key Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing high-quality mobile tutoring sessions to students across the Gold Coast.
  • Developing and implementing engaging lesson plans that cater to individual students' needs.
  • Maintaining accurate records of student progress and providing regular feedback to parents/guardians.
  • Participating in ongoing professional development to improve your teaching practices and stay up-to-date with best practices in education.

Requirements

  • A current Blue Card (or the ability to obtain one).
  • A strong sense of responsibility and reliability.
  • Reliable mobile phone and transport to and from lessons.
  • The capability to work unsupervised and manage your time effectively.
