Senior Water Security Specialist

This is a challenging and rewarding role that involves leading comprehensive water security assessments to ensure the reliability of water supply across Southeast Queensland.
About the RoleIn this senior position, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate and reliable water supply models. You will work closely with internal and external technical experts to analyse modelling outcomes and provide expert advice on water security matters.
Key Responsibilities- Analyse and interpret complex water supply data to inform decision-making
- Lead multi-functional teams in the development and implementation of water security strategies
- Develop and maintain stakeholder relationships to ensure effective communication and collaboration
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in water security modelling
To succeed in this role, you will require:
- A strong background in science, maths or engineering discipline
- Extensive experience in water supply modelling and analysis
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
