Job Role:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Logistics Support Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Supply and Logistics team, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely storage and dispatch of products and equipment.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Ensure accurate and timely receipt, dispatch and storage of goods
  • Pack orders to a high standard, consistently meeting customer expectations
  • Coordinate and book freight with both Domestic and International carriers, ensuring efficient and cost-effective solutions
  • Maintain accurate transaction records on various systems, electronic and manual
  • Prioritize warehouse tasks efficiently, meeting business deadlines and managing workload effectively
  • Manage maintenance of equipment, scheduling regular services as required
  • Participate in stocktakes and audits, ensuring accuracy and compliance
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring services are customer-focused and of a consistently high quality
  • Maintain adequate levels of personal protective equipment (PPE) to fulfill role requirements
  • Comply with all relevant health and safety policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Experience in warehouse/inventory/logistics, particularly in pack-to-order or kitting/packing environments
  • Forklift license and ability to operate safely
  • Understanding of inventory management processes and principles
  • Demonstrated administrative experience relevant to stores management, including MS Office skills
  • Previous experience with freight bookings, both Domestic and International
  • Excellent communication skills, internal and external
  • Current driver's license and ability to drive safely
  • High level of attention to detail and ability to prioritize multiple tasks
