We have an exciting opportunity for a part-time Safety Officer at Dundas Public School.
As a Safety Officer, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety of students, parents, teachers, and local motorists.
You will be responsible for supervising school crossings during designated hours, Monday to Friday. This includes 1 hour in the morning and 1 hour in the afternoon, with a total of 20 hours per fortnight.
The hourly rate for this position is around $25-$30 AUD, depending on your experience and qualifications.
In addition to your hourly rate, you will also receive superannuation benefits and compensation during school holidays from Terms 1 to 3.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication skills and be able to identify potential dangers.
You will also be required to undergo training, wear uniforms, and obtain necessary certifications, including a Working with Children Check, Reference Checks, Police Check, and a Health Assessment.
